The Best Mushrooms on Toast

Ingredients:
 400 g sliced mushrooms
 2 tbsp olive oil
 20 g butter unsalted
 50 ml water
 Salt and pepper to taste
 1 tsp mushroom powder (from previous recipe)
 1 tsp mushroom essence (from previous recipe)
 4 slices of your favourite bread
 Shaved parmesan for garnish
 Coffee croutons for garnish (from previous recipe)
Method:

Prepare the mushroom essence from before Follow the instructions from the previous recipe to create the mushroom essence.

Follow the instructions from the previous recipe to make coffee croutons.

Heat olive oil, seasonings, and water in a large pan over medium heat. Add sliced mushrooms and sauté until all the liquid evaporates and starts to brown.

Continue cooking until the mushrooms are golden brown and have a rich flavour.

Sprinkle the mushroom powder over the mushrooms and stir to coat evenly. Add the mushroom essence, stirring well to incorporate the flavours.

Toast the slices of bread to your liking.

Place a generous amount of the seasoned mushrooms on each slice of toasted bread. Top the mushrooms with shaved Parmesan for a rich and savoury flavour.

Sprinkle the coffee croutons over the mushrooms and Parmesan. The coffee flavour will add a unique twist to the dish.
