Mushroom Industry Events
The AMGA are dedicated to building the capability, skills and sustainability of the Australian Mushroom Industry, therefore we host both large and small events to inform, educate and connect Australian mushroom growers, compost producers and researchers.
Events are announced throughout the year, and are delivered either online or in-person across the country - at no cost or low cost to AMGA members and levy payers.
Please note, these events are designed to support the Australian commercial mushroom industry, and are not open to enthusiasts or start-up farms.
Dr. Michael Wolfin IPDM Workshops
Facilitators - Dr. Michael Wolfin (USA) & Judy Allan

The fly doctor is flying in! Dr. Michael Wolfin, a leading expert in phorid fly control and key researcher at Penn State University, will share cutting-edge findings from his work on monitoring systems, kill stations, and biological control solutions. While predatory mites and entomopathogenic nematodes are available in Australia, adoption of these options has been limited. Dr Wolfin will provide practical advice on introducing and applying these controls effectively, as well as identifying common pitfalls to avoid.
Workshops are being held in QLD and NSW. Spaces are limited. Click the link for more information or to register.
