Jaylon is the Co-owner and General Manager of Pure Mushrooms, producing 45 tonnes per week of white and Swiss brown mushrooms, and Pure Compost, supplying up to 200 tonnes of Phase III compost weekly. He grew up in the mushroom industry, gaining early experience at Merbein Mushrooms (VIC) and P&L Rogers (SA). After completing a Bachelor of Civil & Structural Engineering in 2013, Jaylon returned to the industry in 2017 to establish a modern bunker and tunnel composting facility. Since then, he have overseen the daily operations of both the mushroom farm and composting site, with a strong focus on applying data-driven methods to improve efficiency and performance.

Jaylon is a former AMGA Deputy Chair, AMGA Director, and currently sits on the Hort Innovation Strategic Investment Advisory Panel (SIAP) for Mushroom R&D.

Kevin Tolson - Regal Mushrooms.

As a seasoned industry professional with a deep-rooted commitment to the Australian mushroom growing sector, Kevin has an extensive background in our industry, which brings invaluable experience and insights essential for sound decision-making. For sound representation of our industry.

Over the past 31 years, Kevin has demonstrated an unwavering dedication, having served as a board member for 23 of those years, including six years as chairman. He is dedicated to representing and making decisions that serve the best interests of the entire industry. 

Blair Gibbs - Costa Mushrooms.

Blair works at Costa Group as the General Manager - Vertical Farming, with responsibility for the Mushroom business. Prior to his role at Costa, Blair served as Chief Financial Officer in two separate organisations and as Chief Commercial Officer (overseeing Sales and Strategy).  Blair's background provides the Board with strong leadership and extensive commercial, operational, and financial expertise. He also brings significant experience in risk management and corporate governance.  Blair previously worked for Costa Group in 2013 as Financial Controller of the Mushroom business, providing him with a deep understanding of the mushroom farming and the industry.

Claire McClelland is an experienced agricultural industry leader with more than 15 years’ experience across horticulture, industry advocacy, policy and stakeholder engagement. She served as Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Fresh Produce Alliance, where she led a national industry association representing some of Australia’s largest fresh produce businesses.

As CEO, Claire was responsible for organisational strategy, governance, financial oversight and member engagement, while leading the development and delivery of industry advocacy across workforce, regulation, trade, food security and broader horticulture policy. She has extensive experience working with boards, senior business leaders, government and industry organisations to build consensus, develop practical policy positions and advocate for commercially workable outcomes.

Claire now serves as Chief of Corporate Affairs at Costa Group and is a member of Australia’s National Food Council. She would bring to the AMGA Board strong industry association experience, an understanding of the commercial and policy environment facing growers, and a practical approach to governance, advocacy and industry representation.

Kyle Davies - Zweck (on behalf of Marland Mushrooms).

Kyle is a founding partner in Zweck, a consulting firm offering accounting, taxation, HR, and HSEQ services. Kyle spent over a decade working at firms including senior management roles at PwC and KPMG before moving more into the commercial roles where he served as CFO and then General Manager of Marland Farms QLD for over five years. 

With over 17-years of experience working with SMEs and larger corporations, Kyle is an expert in budgeting and financial management with a proven ability to provide actionable insights.
